Privacy Policy

We take your privacy seriously. This policy explains how FellowConn handles your data.

Last updated: May 7, 2026

1. Introduction

Welcome to FellowConn ("we," "our," or "us"), a product of Absolute Softwares Ltd. We are committed to protecting your personal information and your right to privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our push-to-talk communication platform, including our mobile applications (iOS and Android), web dashboard, and related services (collectively, the "Service").

Please read this policy carefully. If you disagree with its terms, please discontinue use of our Service.

2. Information We Collect

We collect information in the following ways:

Account Information: When you register, we collect your name, email address, phone number, organization name, and account credentials.

Usage Data: We collect information about how you interact with the Service, including features used, channels accessed, message timestamps, and session duration.

Voice and audio messages: When you record or send voice audio (including voice messages and push-to-talk), we may store that audio on our systems so you and others in the conversation can listen again where the Service supports replay or history. Retention follows our general retention practices below (for example, while your account is active and as needed to provide the feature). We do not use stored voice content for advertising, and we do not sell it.

Microphone (mobile apps): Our Android and iOS apps request microphone access so you can record voice, use push-to-talk, and related features. Audio may be transmitted in real time and/or saved as described under Voice and audio messages (for example, when you send a voice message we retain for replay). We do not use microphone audio for advertising, and we do not sell it. You can revoke microphone permission in your device settings; without it, voice and push-to-talk features will not work.

Device Information: We collect your device type, operating system version, unique device identifiers, mobile network information, and IP address.

Location Data: With your permission, we may collect approximate location data to support location-sharing features. You may disable this at any time in your device settings.

Communications metadata and message content: We collect metadata about sessions and messages (for example, duration, channel, participants, timestamps). Where the Service provides replay, saved voice/audio content is stored as described under Voice and audio messages. Text and other message types are handled according to each feature; metadata may be stored even when content is end-to-end encrypted in transit.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

Provide, operate, and maintain the Service

Create and manage your account

Process transactions and send related notices

Send administrative messages, updates, and security alerts

Respond to support requests and inquiries

Analyze usage patterns to improve the Service

Detect, prevent, and address fraud, security, or technical issues

Comply with legal obligations

Store and play back voice and audio messages where you or your organization enable replay or message history

We will never sell your personal data to third parties for advertising purposes.

4. How We Share Your Information

We may share your information in the following circumstances:

Service Providers: We engage trusted third-party companies to perform services on our behalf (e.g., cloud hosting, analytics, payment processing). These providers are contractually obligated to protect your data.

Business Transfers: If FellowConn is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred. We will notify you via email and a prominent notice on our website of any change in ownership.

Legal Requirements: We may disclose your information if required to do so by law or in response to valid requests by public authorities (e.g., a court or government agency).

With Your Consent: We may share your information for any other purpose with your explicit consent.

5. Cookies & Tracking Technologies

We use cookies and similar tracking technologies to track activity on our web dashboard and store certain preferences.

Types of cookies we use:

Essential cookies — Required for core functionality (authentication, security)

Analytics cookies — Help us understand how users interact with our platform

Preference cookies — Remember your settings and choices

You can instruct your browser to refuse all cookies or to indicate when a cookie is being sent. However, some parts of the Service may not function properly if cookies are disabled.

6. Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your information, including:

TLS 1.3 for data in transit between your devices and our systems

Encryption at rest (including AES-256 where applicable), plus access controls for stored content such as voice and audio retained for replay or history

Protections for live sessions according to our product architecture (which may include end-to-end or transport security depending on the feature)

Regular security audits and penetration testing

Role-based access controls for our engineering team

Multi-factor authentication for all internal systems

While we strive to protect your data, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Data Retention

We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. Stored voice and audio messages are kept while your account is active and as needed for replay and conversation history; when you delete messages or your account, associated audio is removed or anonymized according to those actions and our technical capabilities.

You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting us at info@fellowconn.com.

We may retain certain information as required by law, for dispute resolution, fraud prevention, or to enforce our agreements. Anonymized, aggregated data may be retained indefinitely for analytical purposes.

8. Your Privacy Rights
